Angela
Reynolds |
|
 |
Angela Reynolds has been
Director of Bands at River Trail Middle School in Johns
Creek, Georgia since 2006. She began her career in 1995 in
southwest Alabama at Excel High School where she spent three
years. She has also taught four years at Headland High
School in southeast Alabama, one year at Leeds High School
and three years at Leeds Middle School both near Birmingham,
Alabama.
A 1990 graduate of Sidney
Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, Ms. Reynolds
graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education
degree from Troy State University in 1994. While at Troy
State, she played saxophone and bassoon in the Symphony
Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band and served as section leader
in the “Sound of the South” Marching Band. She received a
Master of Music Education degree from Troy State in 1999.
Ms. Reynolds’ professional
affiliations include Music Educators National Conference,
Georgia Music Educators Association, Sigma Alpha Iota, Phi
Kappa Phi, and Kappa Delta Pi.
Ms. Reynolds resides in
Grayson, Georgia and is the proud parent of a magnificent
mutt named Gabbie and a tenacious, but loveable, miniature
dachshund named Boomer. |

| Jennifer
Compton |
|

Jennifer Compton has been
Director of Bands at River Trail Middle School in Johns
Creek, Georgia since 2007. Ms. Compton began her
teaching career in 2003 as the Assistant Director of Bands
at Woodstock High School, Woodstock, Georgia. Ms. Compton received her
Bachelor’s degree in 2002 in Music Education from Berry
College, where she studied trumpet with Dr. William Robison
and Dr. Thomas Smith. In 2007, she completed her Master’s
degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia.
Her professional affiliations
include Music Educators National Conference, Georgia Music
Educators Association, International Trumpet Guild, Sigma
Alpha Iota, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
In addition, Ms. Compton
performs with various groups in the Atlanta area, presently
the Cobb Wind Symphony.
Ms. Compton resides in
Cumming, Georgia with her “min pin”, Emma. |
